Body awareness

Body awareness is how connected you feel to your own body and recognize it’s ability in space . It is the awareness of the position of body parts and how it affects you. In a very simplistic sense it’s applies to how much force we put when walking, running, dancing catching and jumping. It helps kids improve their mathematical skills and social awareness too. Do we think about how our limbs move in space. Do we think about what’s happening to our body in different environments and around different people. Do you think it’s an important skill to know? Can kids know this right away or is this a skill to build. Body scan meditations and yoga can help avoid clumsiness and uncoordination (not a word but explains what I mean 😂)
